Nihal Yesil (b. 1973 in Sivas, Turkey) and lived in Germany from 1975-2006. She studied 2002-2005 Experimental Sculpture with Rosemarie Trockel at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf, and Installation Art from 1999-2002 with Ben Willikens at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. Since 2006 she has lived and worked in London.
Yesil took part at The Crystal World, The White Building, London (2012), 98weeks, Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, Greece (2011), Knowledge of the Hidden, Barbican Centre, London (2010), LCN at SPACE Studios London (2016). She has contributed to projects and publications like Agency of Unrealized Projects, e-flux (2011), and The Forensic Issue, Poetry and Science Magazine Litmus (2014). She co-curated Even Salon, anti-natural and either/or London(2016).
